Here is a quick introduction of Iran

Iran is an Islamic republic on the Persian Gulf with historical sites dating to the Persian Empire. Extensive marble ruins mark Persepolis, the empire’s capital founded by Darius I in the 6th century B.C. Use your common sense, follow the rules (and there are pretty many of them in Iran but still nothing too overwhelming). Respect local culture and people and you shouldn’t have any problems!
